Always preferred these brass ones to the late war zinc versions. There's just something about the patina, really makes the detail pop.
Santa didn't bring me any militaria for Christmas, but he did get me a 30 minute flight in a Tiger Moth for later next year, so guess I can't complain...

Hi Kirk, i have returned many times to this kvk since you have posted it here. Lovely war merit cross this is, with amazing finish. Also i have noticed that handles of swords are slightly wider than usual especially at the top of the handles, so that was very interesting to me. Of course its only some variation which depends on makers, but quite rare and hard to find. All in all beautiful kvk.
