hey. I picked this up at a car boot sale today for £20! Im not experienced with these types of medals but have glossed over them for a bit. I would say its original but i would like opinions please.


I doubt my ipad quality picture will show but it has the number 6 as a manufacturer mark. Can someone link a page or say who that manufacturer is?

Nice original KVK mit Schwerter the maker is Fritz Zimmermann.

Thanks for your replies. I had a look at a website with medal maker numbers and this came up
6 L/24 FZS Stuttgart Fritz Zimmermann
So the number 6 on this refers to that company?

Well i went to the car boot sale with the intention of getting a m1 helmet i spotted last time. The folks selling it were not there so i had a wander round. Had to wade through a lot of rubbish then spotted this medal at the bottom of jewellery case next to a bunch of necklaces
