Welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing! Nice to see family pieces posted!
I'm no expert on this kind of stuff, however, I would NEVER sell anything that was passed down from a relative!
Hello and welcome to the forum!
Please do not sell this family heirloom! As the son of a WW II German Veteran, I would have really regretted if my father's medals had been sold before my real interest in WW II set in.
Are there any markings on the pin or back?
Also, it belongs in the case the other way up.
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
I agree that you should keep these things. Once they are lost you will never find them again. Your children may one day be interested in collecting militaria and they will be very upset with you when you tell them that you got rid of their great-grandfather's KVK!
Looks good, possibly a Deumer ?

Welcome to the forum and thank you for posting your Grandfather's KVK. Do you have any more of his awards or anything else relating to his service?
I would urge you strongly to keep it in the family. I and many others here shudder at the thought of a family piece being sold, it's not worth a huge amount, say around $200-$250. Not worth the money to sell a family piece.
The award was made by the company Julius Bauer who had the PKZ number '43'.
