Seems OK as well, not ringing any alarm bells, many fakes have excess material on the edges, but this doesn't, however once again, I'm no expert so wait for others!
Hi,
yes, it looks original, everything is correct as for Deumer's KVK1. Version with round "3" and wide pin. But I would not buy this cross in so poor condition. It is not rare, no problem to find a better one, I mean.

Tomasz
Yes, plenty of nicer ones!
Hello tompres
Thank you for your input..
Only because i have been offered it cheap
I would consider it for a Well worn army tunic it perhaps
Could look very Nice on..
Best regards

If it's cheap enough and you have plans for its use, go for it, it's really your choice.
If the price is good, and you want it, I would say go for it.
These are not easy to find with this much finish remaining. My example has been posted here,
Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1.Klasse mit Schwertern, Wilhelm Deumer, "3"
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
aside from the pitting its quite nice, get it.
Yes i thought so, hardly any have the finish still, grab it while you can!!!!!
