Hi,

My first post here so maybe this might help you out a little with your dilemma over the various cross sizes. To be honest, i do not think your first cross is a fake,maybe just an earlier version. Take a look at this link i found a while ago while checking up on a Ek2 for a friend of mine.
It will tell you all about the variations, Shinckleform's, round 3's and the Ubergrosse cross. Also gives a complete list of makers and their marks. Plus lots more incite into the Ek as a whole.
