It's a good deal as said. I recently saw a Knight's cross of the merit cross at a local flea market..the guy wanted $2,000!

Are you sure it was genuine?
If the seller knew it was real he could sell it easily for more than that.
If he knows it's fake he should sell it for just a couple of dollars.
If he knows to price it at a couple of thousand bucks he knows what it is and what it could be worth if original.
Because he priced it at a couple of thousand bucks he knows it not real or he could ask more, he knows it's fake because he hasn't priced it at the proper retail price, therefore he prices it mid range knowing its not real and hoping he can lure someone into thinking they've got a bargain. He robs a couple of thousand from a fool who thinks they've got a steal without realising it them who've been stolen from.

Sounds about right. For the longest time I never knew they made a Knight's Cross of it.
