What can you say about this War Merit Cross

I have come across this dubious war merit cross with swords, the owner claims that he took it from a polish citizen (probably to increase the belief that it is genuine), and i thought i would ask you guys. I have never seen a war merit cross with or without swords with enamel ornaments, and thus i believe it is fake, but i can't say that i do not like it ( it really looks rather interesting). But if you know something that i don't and it turns out to be genuine, i sure would like to buy it. Thanks a lot.

Yes, but you can get a real Spanien Kreuz with the same design!

Seriously though it is a fantasy item, not genuine to the Third Reich in any way shape or form.
However, we can't tell you how to spend your money so if you like it purely from a design perspective then it's your decision but don't pay a TR price for it. It is a fake, fantasy item and pretty much worthless.

thank you for your replies, i am not going to buy it of course because it is not worth it. and what would be the point in collecting ww2 items if they are not genuine
