    Short, concrete description of the personal combat feat or merits:

    While reconnoitring the village of Maloye Kosho, Serovnya and Goryano in the Gorodok Raion of the Vitebsk Oblast, comrade Kovrov always provided the scouts with uninterrupted communications with the command. While reconnoitring the village of Volotovka in the enemy rear, the radio transmitter was damaged by enemy fire. A skilled radio operator, comrade Kovrov quickly repaired the radio transmitter and re-established communications. During an engagement in the village of Salki comrade Kovrov personally killed three enemy soldiers and officers. He went on reconnaissance missions many times and always provided uninterrupted communications with the divisional command. He deserves the Order of the Red Star.

    Thanks guys. I am quite happy with the outcome of this one. Seems like he certainly did his part in the war, plus I will have to get an order of glory 3rd class now! Would he have worn a guards badge etc?
