Help with order of the Red Star

Hello, I am thinking of buying this Order of The Red Star but am unfamiliar with these items and wanted to know if this one is authentic. I have read a little about fakes and its not obviously a fake from what I have seen, but that dosnt mean much. I have looked up the serial number on this forum and found it dates to 1945. Any help appreciated, Doug

Seems fine to me. The screw pin might be a replacement.

Or polished. . .

The number appears to be 2550630, which would indicate manufacture at the Moscow Mint, 1945, and, as aforementioned, probably awarded early to mid 1945.

Excellent and a nice price.

Next step is to get it researched. Sadly this will now cost about £40 due to the exchange rate. But it is well worth doing. Auke is the man for this.
