My first screw post variant too. Serial number 60410.

Not researched, yet...

Came with a nice silver backing plate too.

The award is for 1942 and 99% chance non-military, but for a railway worker. But only research can say for sure, of course.

I agree, railways probably. Just a matter of looking at neighboring numbers - 60336, 60392 and 60429 were all awarded to railway personnel in the summer of 1942.
