Short description of personal combat feat or service
While accomplishing missions constructing bridges on military routes of the 39, 43, 41 Armies and 3 and 4 Shock Armies, Comrade Erokhovets achieved excellent results in accomplishing the company’s mission supplying mechanization to the construction of twelve high-suspension bridges measuring in total 1740 meters and the building of five bridges ahead of schedule. Through his personal leadership of the personnel’s training and mechanization and supervision of the mechanical devices on the bridges, Comrade Erokhovets supplied the company’s continuous and high-quality construction, frequently while under enemy artillery fire.
For their mission accomplishment of bridge construction, 64 members of the company received congratulatory certificates from the command and six commanders and soldiers were recommended for awards.
For ahead-of-schedule accomplishment of the Kalinin Front Command’s combat missions and displaying initiative he is deserving of the Order of the Red Star.
