    Excellent award and citation, Ade! I like the reference to the Landwehr Canal... I've been there!!

    I've always wanted an award with a citation for the Battle of Berlin. You have me green with envy!!

    As ever, thanks for the comments.

    I only have one un researched Red Star now. This is a later Long Service issue example.

    But as many of the ones I have had done have turned out to be awarded to Officers, I am going to get Auke to pull the service records for me so I can add more detail and more importantly add faces to the names. So expect a lot more thread bumping!
