Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:

Serving as assistant chief of the Technical Supply Section of the 143rd Konotop-Korosten Red Banner Rifle Division, comrade Sergeyev managed to supply the Division with all necessary technical supplies and fuel and lubricants, despite difficulties arising from the lack of roads, the Division’s rapid advance, and the fact that army bases were falling behind.

In a combat situation comrade Sergeyev brought bottles with incendiary mixture to the front line under enemy fire. Personally concerning himself with the procurement of fuel from army warehouses and their delivery to the Division’s positions, if necessary straight to the combat vehicles on the front line, comrade Sergeyev displayed perseverance and initiative, thanks to which the Division did not experience fuel supply failures during the capture of the city of Sarny, the town of Rafalovka, and the town of Manevichi.

He deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Star.
