Short, concrete description of his feat of arms or accomplishments:
Comrade Tseplyayev has been serving on the Leningrad Front since the beginning of the Patriotic War. He repeatedly fought in battle and was wounded to his head.
Serving as a section chief, comrade Tseplyayev showed himself an honorable and conscientious officer, possessing a thorough understanding of Chekist activities. Skillfully leading his section, comrade Tseplyayev personally unmasked one German spy.
Under his personal suppervision, in February and March 1944 his section's special agents unmasked three German intelligence agents, five traitors and traitors of the motherland, and one anti-Soviet element, and brought them before the military tribunal.
Moreover, at the end of March he apprehended a group of six armed deserters.
Systematically visiting the facilities operated by by his agents, he provided the latter with practical assistance in organizing their operational duties at these facilities.
Skillfully directing his section's agents to unmask counterrevolutionary elements in the army's rear areas, comrade Tseplyayev achieved excellent results in clearing the army's rear of unreliable elements among military personnel.
In March and April of this year, the agents of comrade Tseplyayev's section revealed the incompetent leadership, professional chaos, and the decommissioning of transport vehicles by senior personnel of the 60th Automobile Battalion and Sorting-Evacuation Hospital nr. 262, whose commanders were relieved of their duties by 67th Army command.
Comrade Tseplyayev deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Star.
