    Hello, I am interested in purchasing this award, these are the only pictures available. Is it likely to be authentic and is it wartime? Many thanks, Douglas

    I am not sure on this one, but i don't like the back where the hammer and sickle is. Too straight. IMO opinion it should be rounded from this maker. Wait for opinions

    Definitely original, and most likely a 1956 long-service award.

    Red Stars were awarded from 1930 all the way up to 1991. The WW2 era serial number range is approximately 10,000 - 2,600,000. The vast majority of all higher numbers were awarded after the war to officers for 15 years of service.
