    Looks like a decent Silver CCC but the zinc has eaten the silver finish away almost entirely.

    Hi Frank,

    The fluted pin is a good sign of a late war FLL Nahkampfspange. The signs of die wear on the obverse are what you'd expect to see, all looks o.k. for me, I like it.

    It looks good although I don't know how 'rare' this variation is.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Unusual to see a round wire catch rather than a flat wire type. Makes me think this was a transitional variant. Early late war, if there is such a thing. Stewy

    Thanks for all the replies i don't actually own the clasp but was watching it at auction i did bid on this but never won the item but hope to have better look next time
