    No Worries Ned. No apology needed. Thank you for your for original sincere opinion and for your second opinion. I really appreciate it. I have a copy of a book called 'German Combat Awards 1935-1945' by Alan Beadle. The photos of this clasp in his book and the pics from the auction site looked identical..until I saw what Joachim pointed out in the photos with the red arrows. Well done Joachim! To be honest...I never noticed those flaws. In any case gentlemen, that you very much. Needless to say... I won't be biding on this one.

    Thank you to Ned and Joachim, I learnt something from this thread and I'm sure many others reading this did too.



    Even if it is just that Ned has a great voice.
