I would recommend that you not pursue this one unless you are willing to add post war manufactured awards to your collection.
This one has a post war pin and catch.

I agree, compare this to known originals and the difference is clear. The catch in particular is very obvious. For what it is worth I do not like the overall quality of the clasp itself either even given that it is not period. It might pass on a re-enactors uniform but otherwise not for me!
