    Hi gentlemen,

I have a Nahkampfspange in Silver.

The métal looks like Silver (51 grammes) & when you scrape fine the métal, its look like pure silver.
But not spécific markings like "800" for silver.

    The maker is PEEKHAUS BERLIN.

    What is your opinion please.
Could it be a spéciale, like a jeweller fabrication?

Thank you very much for replies.
Best regards from Alsace , France.

Agreed. This is a poor copy.

Was of the impression that these were plated or finished, rather than being of solid silver? That is at least the case with other combat badges.

    Hi gentlemen,

It is in solid silver, 51 grammes, not in cast or plated.

They are all made in zinc, even the gold versions.

    Hi gentlemen,

So I was in a jewwelry, it is PURE SILVER.
Where is the interest to make a copy in pure silver?

As far as i know originals were made in tombak, aluminium and zinc. One thing is for sure they were never made in silver. As Adrian already said this is a poor copy, looks very ugly. And silver actually isnt that worthy at all, it is not gold for example. So all in all this is bad cast copy.

Also if it was a manufactured badge in real silver it would have proof marks, 800 or similar.
Cast copy, when and why it was made will never be known.
