You said it all-brand new. The backplate looks like it's been painted on the obverse side After it was installed-you can see the paint on the edges of the frame. And, as Lars said, the edge curling and metal bubbling indicates a cast badge rather than a stamped one. Well...that, and the fact that the eagle looks like a Pomegranate....

the details look quite soft for the condition this clasp appears to emulate.

Yes a fake for sure.Nothing is fitting to a original clasp of A.G.M. u. K.Not really a dangerous copy.

Also look at the perfect makers mark with evenly sized font, all perfectly spaced and then compare it to originals where the makers mark is not always so neat and tidy...........
