It doesn't match up with any of the examples of Ges Gesch I've seen in this thread:

The official, "unofficial", Party badge thread.

but I'll wait for more experienced people to make the call.

I'm confused by uneven enamel, especially on the swastika.

Could of possibly been from someone trying to clean, polish, restore the badge? Over a 80 year period alot could of happened to it. If Salados says it's ok, no worries brother it s a good badge. It has a rather uncommonly seen reverse. A nice pickup. Thanks for showing it. Best regards.

Also, I would just like to add that on its own, with every other facet checking out, incl. patina, there's nothing really damning about a slightly worse quality in enamel. Not going to speculate on why this is the case with this particular badge but, suffice to say, I would not back away from any early or even transitional badge because of slight enamel issues alone... you always have to take the entire thing into consideration and weigh one issue against the other.

I'd say M1 badges with such quality issues would require a whole lot more skepticism though, you do not really see many flaws in finished badges at all after full standardization of markings (M1), design and production. Seems to me that the Reichszeugmeisterei was quite successful in weeding out the lower standard makers during the transitional period.
