looks fine to me Jess.
An original and desirable Parteiabzeichen...I believe the reverse markings indicate a transitional badge...
cheers, Glenn
Wow, quick replies! Thank you so much Harry and Glenn! I'm glad to know it is an original.
You picked a very nice party badge for your boyfriend ---nice condition transitional by Paul Cramer. Too bad you're not my girlfriend as I'm actually missing this number
If I may ask, what do you mean by transitional?
1933-1935... a period where manufacturers were transitioning into the new RZM system --- after which all official party badges would be marked with the RZM symbol and M1/ followed by their assigned makers number (in this case 59, except this maker lost his license during this transitional period).
I highly recommend taking a few minutes to go through the Parteiabzeichen Section and experience the interesting research involved ...
cheers, Glenn

Hi Jess
That is a very nice and desirable Party badge, I'm sure he'll be pleased with it if he's a Party badge collector.

In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig. CE
