M1/77 NSDAP Pin? Thoughts?

I have spent hours looking through all the great posts and it appears I have an authentic M1/77 Foerster & Barth, Pforzhiem pin here, but I wanted to post the photos to get some feedback from the pros. This was found in my wife's grandfathers belongings when he passed in the 1950's and it's just been rattling around in a box.

Thoughts on authenticity and do I have it identified correctly? If authentic, what do you think is a fair value?

Nice original Badge David IMO in quite good condition.
It is not a rare badge.

For value the best thing to do is trawl the dealer sites for a comparable piece.
