A common feature on original keyfobs or 'bierzipfel' is that the badge that adorns the clasp is usually smaller than the clasp itself- much like those pictured and posted by 'the most knowledgeable enamel badge collector' a page or two back.
On the other hand, those fobs suspected of being 'spruced up' long after war ended, usually feature oversized badges.
