NSDAP Badges

Hi Guys

I have come across two NSDAP badges and wanted to get some opinions about which of the two is ‘better’.

I’ve not had one of these badges in my collection before. I see that they are both made by RZM – one appears to be 1942 manufacture date?

I was wondering if anyone had any additional info about them, and which of the two badges you would recommend that I should get?

Nice badges. The one you think is made in 1942, the number 42 on the back is for M1/42 Kerbach and Israel - Dresden

RZM are not the maker of the badges.

M1/100 = Werner Redo - Saarlautern.

I'm not a big collector of party badges but I would get the M1/42. I think that M1/100 are more common and easier to get.

I never knew that about the RZM marks. I have a few different types of badges which I can now look up the maker of.

I'll get the M1/42 Kerbach and Israel badge as you suggested

The transitional 42 has a definite edge on the 100 with the transitional obverse design and the nice big reverse markings --- but I've always liked those Redo markings as well, coupled with the atypical (for most any manufacturer other than this one) pin plate it makes for a pretty kooky M1 badge.
