The first one looks like it's in the first stage of manufacture .
Cheers Chris, I wondered why it has a "funny" shape..
1st would be a Grundrohlinge, having been stamped but not yet trimmed. The 2 zinc ones in the 2nd photo would be rohlinge, ones that got another step ahead in the process having been trimmed. The rest seem to be in various later stages, all before having received attachments and possibly even before the silver wash was applied but after the rough polish stage ---these unfinished pieces are really interesting for having a good visual of the different stages of the party badge manufacturing process.
I can see the enameled ones are by Zimmermann (M1/72) plus an earlier one but would the zinc ones happen to be M1/92? I can't tell the makers number from these pics... Seems there's a lot of unfinished M1/92 zinc pieces out there, along with Wurster (M1/34).
I believe there is a Party badge sticky tread , you should post them there for reference .
Absolute top set of unfinished badges.
They would be a great addition to a party badge collectors collection.
Nice pieces

Are these pictures any better?
Can any Moderator move this to the other forum??
