    Default NSDAP button or badge?

    Hi all,
I couldnt find specifically this dug up badge or button (?) anywhere on internet is it some kind of uniform button, or just different type of NSDAP lapel badge? I am slightly confused as there is no pin on the back (neither any spots)... Diameter is 23mm

I simply love the relics dug up on battlefield or found in old bunkers...after been 60 years lying in the ground.. these are like real silent witnesses of WWII battles

Really appreciate any help or comments

    with regards

    Pasarana

PS: RZM and M1/12 is marked on the backside as on standard lapel badges

Its a button hole style party pin. Same as the others just a different attachment device. You dont see them as often however they are around. If you like I can take a photo of mine.

    Nice find!

I've seen a few of this type floating around over here too
    - not ground dug ! They tend to sell for more than the
    'standard' pin back badges.

    A nice variation !
    Regards,

Many thanks for your replies - any comment is very helpful for me as I am novice and dont have many WWII books :-/
This one is not my find, it comes from bloke in "Sudetenland" who digs up Heers stuff thrown away during the final retreat 1944-45

To Kirby: Yes sure I would like to see your treasure party button

    Best Regards / Pasarana

Here is my example. As you can see its not the prettiest party badge out there. Its marked M1/14 for Matthius Oescbsler & Sohn, Ansbach. The side view shows the the parallel lines used to insure proper pin alignment. Same badge different attachment device.

I like it.. looks fantastic and still in fine condition for its age Now I understand better, so the pin was fully removable? just hard to imagine how was attached to the tunic Thanx again for your pictures.

    Pasarana,

It would have slipped right into the lapel buttonhole.
