thank you brett, l have a few of these over the years, most were vet pick up,s and some i got at antique shows, the past years i,ve not been very active, so just trying to sort out good and bad, as lm sure l do have a few bad items...

I would say throne on the right with the square coffin shaped pin attachment is a repro....that shape is usually a sign of a post war badge
yes agree with the coffin pin set-up, not a good pic, but that pin is crimped in , no attachment, just the pin is squeezed crimped on the back, for lack of proper words here...Thanks AMTG

It's just a small detail I picked up here, that has probaly saved me a bit of money!!!! I tend to steer clear of them...also beware of the dreaded "M9/73" marked badges

Both badges are good. The second badge has a crimped attachment point and not a plate, as stated.
The "coffin" plate looks like this.
