Just tried the ultra-violet .... and there is no glow on flag material and hanging cord !

Hi Gary, I think no glow is a good sign on something like this.

hi adrian here's a 1 piece armband i picked up today after truging through many internet searches i was led to believe all one piece armbands are fake as they were only multipiece but alas i found this old thread which retored my faith it seems to be made of cotton and screen printed just wandering what your thoughts on it might be it has 2 ink stamps on the front waffen ss ,thanks james

I concur with Ade. Your armband is not period manufactured. Printed kampfbinde did exist during the 3rd Reich era.

I have seen numerous period printed kampfbinde. They all conform to the usage of similar material and construction. Your piece does not meet the standards. Compare your piece against the one Ade posted.
