i have identical issues with the hj armband as Mr. Bob Coleman.

the SS is authentic.

would have to agree with yo there, the center white stripe on the HJ is made from the exact same stuff as the white roundel of the NSDAP and SS (double click the pics), and it actually looks finished at the ends like an ek ribbon is! the HJ armbands red parts can also see it has a slanted weave line to the material like this \\\\\ where as wool would not? i would not write that HJ armband off but thats me, i dont like the paper RZM tag also, the item number should not be printed in orange ink like that people have been humping things up for decades as we all know so the tag and RZM ink stamp could have been placed there imo
