Need help! Authenticity armband help please

Thank you all so much! You guys are all awesome! I truly appreciate this a ton. It's nice to finally have 2 originals (: and yes, I am very serious about starting a collection as I have always been intrigued with WWII and the German side of it. Also, Yeah... the mothball smells is a good indicator .. I would def try the tests but I do not have a black light and I dont know the difference for the burning part

The fakers read the forums and use our information to correct their errors. The black light test has not been a reliable source now for some years. The fakers have learned how to remove brighteners from their fabrics so there is no glow. Further, a period example can have a glow if it has been laundered with detergent. I have never the burn test as it was never necessary. I am sure the fakers are working to defeat that also. Experience with studying original material is your best defense. ost fakes have mistakes so posting here fr educated opinion is alsp a way to receive accurate assesment.

Very close. You could say this!!

The letters represent the price, which had to be paid for such tag
(literally: Werte der einzelnen Erkennungsmarken). For every
product under RZM-law (parteiamtliche Ausrüstungsgegenstände),
needing such tag, tags had to be bought at the RZM and added or
positioned to a visible spot. Other forms of tags were not allowed.

I have found the "N" tax code on wire hand embroidered items such as SA general officer rank collar tabs. The tax code letters seem to increase with the quality of work and material of an item. I am sure somewhere there is a written regulation for this.

Yes Bob. The letter-code has to do with the price for an article (Ausrüstungsgegenstände), in my opinion.
The exact explanation was not in the Mitteilungsblatt der RZM (as far as I know), but this is concluded
from a survey with letters from A through P in the 1938 RZM manufacturing-regulations. A key to
the price-classes I have not yet found!!
