Hello friends I come here always for a second opinion. This armband looks great but that stitching around the circle looks abnormal. Opinions pleaseNSDAP armband de-nazified and pieced back together?

What is supposed to have been de-Nazified about it? It looks like your average NSDAP armband. Many of these armbands were made by people at home either by hand or on sewing machines, so there will be small variations in the sewing, of course. I Do, however, see one of the great abominations to the hobby in your photo? I'm referring, of course, to the much hated "German SS/Paratrooper Butterfly Knife"?? These fake things that never were have been the bane of collectors for a long time now!

The armband is genuine and as made in the period. I see nothing from your picture to judge it is put together.

Is there any such thing as a denazified armband? That would be a strange thing to do.
