Help on officers koppelschloss?

Ladies, gents,

I found this belt buckle last week in the Spreewald, Germany. I'm not exactly an expert on these, but I recognized it as an officers koppelschloss. So far my knowledge. Since it has no swastika, I then assumed it to be Austrian, German WWI or possibly Weimar. I've been searching quite a lot on the net, but I can't find anything close to it. All I found was that the eagle with sword and sceptre has been used in 18th and 19th century Kur-Brandenburg, which makes sence since I found it in that aerea. The buckle shows no markings.

I really hope anyone here can tell me more about it (I already went through all 62 belt buckle pages). Also I'd like to know what material it's made of and how to clean it best. Please see the picture (which isn't too good, my apologies, but shows all that is to see with the eye).

I have cleaned the koppelschloss lighlty with a sponge and some water.

Feuerschutzpolizei Preussen would be my wild guess!

Hello,

this buckle is Weimar period for feuerwehr officer of the province Brandenburg and was made among others by the well known Assmann and Sohne company of Lüdenscheid under the catalog number 22504
The original finish should have been burnished brass
