Hello! I just want to show this buckle and ask for opinions.. is the whole buckle a fake or is it a good one with fake marks?

It's always good to have the bad ones in our database.
Of course, it's a very stupid thing to mark a NSBO buckle with the year 1940...

I had some problems with the picture but if you click it, you will be able to enlarge it.
    Thank you for your opinions

As what yellow12 says. Maybe even the roundel is not okay,
photo does not give enough detail! 1940 of course is total
    nonsense!

A fact is that NONE of the known NSBO-buckles is official.
All we see and offered buckles are not officially worn buckles.
There never came an official decision and the double-claw was
merely worn and an official item!

As such it was described in the Organisationsbuch der NSDAP,
    1936 and 1937 editions (page 230).
Persons, being a party-member, managed a department for the DAF
and were actually political leaders from the NSDAP (and did wear the
PO-uniform). They existed within the NSBO-staff.

NSBO-members, not being a party-member did in fact wear the
silvered double-claw and their specific uniform.

Shown two parts from announcements from the "Mitteilungsblatt der
    RZM
": the first one from December 1934 tells there are not yet
official NSBO buckles; the second from February 1935 gave the official
uniform for the NSBO. Here a double-claw is mentioned not a buckle.

We all know there are many forms of NSBO-buckles, originals. Yes! They
wear worn in those days. This is not so strange. Every manufacturer wanted
to have their buckle officially sanctioned. All bad luck!

The NSBO person shown is a political leader and so would have worn the
    double-claw for political leaders:
