2 Afrika Korps Cuff Titles

Finally managed to nab 2 of these after a long search. I am certain these are good thanks to Ade's great reference topic but there is always that little voice in my head that says post it on the forum.

What do you guys think? Sorry for the terrible pics, just got them home to check and no sun to take the pics in.

Many thanks Morris and Tom. Interesting seeing the 2 different shades of green. I prefer the one with the slight damage as the green is alot darker, the cuff almost look as if it were tunic removed where as the other is a brighter green and unissued.

According to information from elsewhere the darker green example is the wartime issue and the lighter tan coloured example are said to have only been found unissued after the war, though the paler example might be sun faded, as it is hard to be 100% certain as to the true colour on the screen. Neither example appear to have stitching holes and the damage is probably just that.

Both are good originals, but for me the darker example is the better of the two.
