Article about: I recently received a package of interesting Wehrmacht items from my German relatives. Included in the package was this cuff title. I suspect it is a reproduction, but I would like to defer

    Default AFRIKA cuff title -- Reproduction?

    I recently received a package of interesting Wehrmacht items from my German relatives. Included in the package was this cuff title. I suspect it is a reproduction, but I would like to defer to the experts in this forum for verification.

    This is a learning exercise for me. Please provide as much information as you like with respect to what makes this item an obvious reproduction.

    I would run with your first instincts Marcus, it would be a huge leap of faith to own that one....

    I would suggest a few decent reference books for your library, here is one from Schiffer that has some nice photos
    of original examples of the various 'Afrika' titles that you may encounter....

    Very odd and done in the colours of a Kreta title.
