Guys check this one out.
It's advertised as repro but it has some of the features of the originals.
1. A & F are not merging.
2. The shape of the O on the reverse is not a diamond shape but oval.
3. No tartan weave on the reverse.
Are we facing a new generation of fakes?

Hi Chris, thanks for these images.
I think with the info found here, the fakers have corrected many mistakes. This is a dangerous fake. However, there are errors in letter shapes. I am loathe to point these out publicly now. But study the shape of some of the letters. They do not match originals.
Cheers, Ade.

Hi Guys,
I was just reading through this thread and unfortunately I am now questioning my Cuff Title. To me it looks a lot like the fake that Don just posted.
Could someone please take a look for me? I think the gentleman that sold it to me will make it right but I don't want to bother him until I'm absolutely sure.
Thanks very much!

The fakers are getting better but there are still errors in the way they produce these pretty good replicas, a chap i used to work with who is now an investigator on the Antiquetes Fraud department, stated recently that along with the normal frauds commited in antiques, the monetary return in military fakes is now in the multi millions which basically means theres more money in fakes than the real thing, thats a disturbing factor
Gentleman, You have put my mind at ease and I thank you very much!
I don't know why this bothered me so much but it did.
Ade, thanks for starting this thread and thanks to all that continue to add to it.
Much Appreciated,
