Re: Armebzeichen - help please!
Hi Troy, they are Kriegsmarine. Tresse and colour can only be Kriegsmarine.
Dark Navy Blue can look almost black.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Armebzeichen - help please!
It does have that marking on one of them, but I didn't take much notice of it, and they are the darkest blue I've ever seen Did the SS use these?

Re: Armebzeichen - help please!
The short and long answer is No.
Tresse is the wrong colour and pattern.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Armebzeichen - help please!
Since they are not SS, the marking on the back is there to deceive.
The thing is are the patches original KM with fake SS marking or are they fake completely?

Re: Armebzeichen - help please!
There is a slight chance the SS might be a makers stamp.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Armebzeichen - help please!
Thanks again Ade, and on another note, I've left a link over at uboot.net for the U-Kreuzer Deutschland thread. Hopefully we may see some more input into Dwights labour of love.
