Hello guys - some questions about this wrap.
Is ot good?
I believe the lining is OK as well as the inisgnia, but what about the jacket itself?
Cheers and thanks for your time

Uuuuuuuuhhhhmmm where's the eagle swastika?
It's blurred out using photoshop so that it could be sold on eBay. Someone already posted this elsewhere; it's obviously a beautiful example but it went for way too much.

Jork, please tell me you weren't the winner of this auction!
A very good and rare wrapper. Interesting the comments on the WAF about it.

Whatever its just an opinion.
I think it has a lot to do with the exchange rate(this would be almost 8,000usd for an American) though I've seen a few European dealers selling a similar example for around 1,000 euros less.
Also, it's plausible the eagle, collar tabs and shoulder-boards; which are unissued-mint and still retain their original factory shape even with the interior of the wrap in worn condition??, were reapplied/added postwar. If you look around the eagle you can see what could be a shadow of the former insignia and possibly the original stitch line as well.
A hands on inspection is undoubtably needed by someone, not me, who specializes in these jackets and the application process of wartime/postwar insignia. Now considering it sold on eBay, I doubt the inspection period will be honored and that's of course if there was one in the first place.
