This is a nice artillery Waffenrock that belonged to a NCO serving with the 8th (E.) Batterie of Artillerie Regiment 51. According to the Lexikon, in 1938 the 8th battery was chosen to create the Artillery Regiment 251. (E) means Ergänzungs = additional
The breast eagle is a very nice variant for parade tunics, the colour of the backing is not very often seen...
E38 is the Erfurt acceptance stamp for 1938, the other numerals are size markings.
