hello jrocket
thanks for the help but that page you posted me has that forum were i posted my ring
the code is unkown there to so it takes a lot of time to find out
This ia a nice real ring from the holland campaign. Made in holland with silve mark 800 and dutch stamp. This rings were first made for the dutch army on the beginning of the war. Of course without the eagles on the side, but with dutch lions on it and mobilisatie 1940 written on the frontplate. Sad, that one eagle there is missing.
The 800 is the silver purity as on the Ritterkreuz which are usually 800 or 935 representing 80% and 93.5% purity.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
