Re: Combat Officer Display
Sorry Lars I didn't realise the tunic came with the it's original awards.Your Oberleutnant was knocked around a bit hey.
I was only thinking "display" with regards the wound badge not taking into account they were a complete tunic with original awards.

Re: Combat Officer Display
Hello,
Nice item...congrats...IMO boots are a bit too shiny...
As previously mentioned by Ade, Feldgrau breeches is the right answer here, especially with this type of boots.
A Heer Officer 45 mm leather belt (even 50 mm), a pistol holster, a mapcase and a pair of 6x30 binos should do the trick for the rest of the mannequin...Do you plan to use a steel helmet or some soft headgear ?
Thanks

Re: Combat Officer Display
Lars,
You can add what you want it's you tunic but most officers' would have worn what Ade and JPhilip have stated.
As your officer is infantrie 6x30 binos are fine but if you do not want to add breeches, you could could always go for stiefelhose, these are like breeches but are not as "flared" at the sides and if you wanted, you could always go with the parade style Y straps as these were often used so that the officer would blend in with the other ranks from a distance, especially if you added an MP40 pouch too.
Hope to see some photos once you have put this together.

Re: Combat Officer Display
Lars,
Parade straps do not have the extra straps to attach to the pack (tonister), I have attached a link for you which I hope works.
