Thank you very much. You are right all the way of course. I will wait and see and focus on some other items for the display.

    Lars,
I have no wish to push you in a particular direction, I am just trying to help you, so that you do not make some of the mistakes that I already have!!

Be happy with what you purchase, that way, you can't go wrong.

It's perfectly fine. It's important to learn from own mistakes, but certainly also from other peoples.

    Regards, Lars

Lars here is one pic i found in my hard disc. It's without the pz Schirmmutze which i finally got last week. Both tunic and breeches are made of summer light cloth. The color is not a perfect match, but it was the closest i could find.
I have a nice P38 holster ready and waiting until i find an officer's belt to place on the mannequin.
The binos are coming soon as i have already purchased them.

A question and an update on this thread.

I still do not have the Tunic but i have paid for it, so i should have sooner or later.

What type of shirt will i be using under the Tunic? They seem hard to find.

    Regards, Lars

Maybe this could do? A little expencive perhaps.. U-068* Scarcely-Seen Wehrmacht Service Shirt

""This rare shirt would have been worn by personnel, under a tunic. It is produced in dark grey cotton blend, which is fairly lightweight and stretchable. There are two pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps. There is a four button “V” neck and adjustable cuffs. All of the buttons are green pressed paper. There are various black in stamps in a few spots, none of which are legible. Excellent and mega-desirable!

Or one of this type, French tropical shirt which were commonly used by the Germans as they captured lots of them and probably had the French to continue making them as well I think. This one sold recently for $100.
