I picked these up for $20 the pair at a junk / antique store.
Are they any good or did I get what I paid for?

To me they look like a felt backed waffenrock one? ...sadly stuck in an album with messy gluing and the second is M36 tunic removed?

    Thanks, Dan

Top looks ok, the bottom not so good, it's a funny colour and I don't like what I can see of the details. Better pics are needed, as these are a bit out of focus and even when expanding them I can't see enough detail to give you a 100% certain opinion.

    Tks Jerry,
I will post better sharper daylight photos tonight - these were taken with a flash and the colour is a bit washed out.
I don't know how I could de-glue the top one ...... any ideas?

    Cheers, Dan

I'm no expert on these things however I've just checked your top eagle against the eagle on my M36 tunic and it is almost identical, The way the braid finishes at the wing tips, the fineness and the overall quality appear the same.

Thanks Sandgroper, that's 2 votes for the top one ......... and none for the second eagle - but the reverse weave looks ( to me ) the same as this one that Volksjager posted a little while back and it got the thumbs up.

The head of the second eagle is somewhat bigger than normal, only seen this shape on the supposed French made eagles.
