    I, too, know little about Totenkopf insignia. But, these look alright to me. Just judging by what little I know, the prongs are not soldered on, and the pattern looks alright!

    But the prongs are soldered on you can see clearly in the photo

    art they the large size i think 5th cav strap skulls are the same size as panzer skulls yours looks like a cap skull

    Hi, they are the big cap type, i thought they may have been earlier ss cap skulls but was told 5th kavallerie,cheers Dave

    They are probably Army cap skulls used by several squadrons of the 5th cav reg and 4th cav div
