DAK Blitz - Brown or Orange?

Hi all! This blitz just came in, looks removed form the uniform. The question; is it brown or orange?

Always a good question to which there is no agreement amongst all collectors of these.

Thanks for the pics Jerry (and nice collection). I picked one of these up a few months back and had a similar question. The color is more of a rust/brown color, not the red as shown in the pictures.

Michael, yours looks more like the copper brown for motorcycle recon troops.

A colour chart I did years back when I still needed to find more for my collection.

What colour are the construction ones? Cant see well.

Orangey brown for construction, which is why with some of these I do not offer opinions on what colour they are, the colours are so hard to be certain over, the oranges, the greens. The red ones I have always come out pink in photos and the pinks just look wrong, the scanning works better. I have seen mauvey purple examples, but not sure if they exist or are just odd in photos red or pink examples.
