Article about: Hello all, Can anyone please tell me if this is a wartime tunic (perhaps with added insignias) and if so what pattern it is please? I cannot read the stampings but if anyone would like to ta

    Thanks William. Good link showing the brushed cotton (Italian 'olona' material) with triangulated sewn tropical eagle and litzen as well as the typically seen zig-zag sewn tropical breast eagle....

    Please correct me if i am wrong, but what i know is that when a tunic is partially lined it is a tropical one. Summer tunics have no lining at all.

    Hi MArk thanks. So do you agree with the above statement about the partial lining?
    Here is my KM tunic. Also partially lined but in a different way. This is a very early, transitional tunic. Note the back flaps.

    Ah...
    But here we are in different territory. KM, LW and heer tunic patterns are quite dissimilar so I believe we should not compare them.

    Oh ok buddy. Today I have received that stripped, salty, tropical tunic i told you about the other day. I will shoot some pics and post it for detailed analysis
