Edelweiss Badge WWII or Post-War ??

Can someone inform me if this is an WWII era Edelweiss badge or post war use/construction?

While genuine, it is not wartime.

Wartime ones have straight stems. Postwar Bundeswehr issues have bent stems.

This one has had part of the stem broken off to hide the fact it is a bent version. I think this trick has worked as Stewy missed it.

Also not the double holes for the stitching: open to correction here, but I cannot recall seeing a wartime one with this feature?
