Re: Feldbluse + Mantel - opinions please
Genuine but in a very sorry state (at least the tunic)...not much collectible unless you're on a budget!
Horrido!

Re: Feldbluse + Mantel - opinions please
Hi, the tunic is original and so is the mantel.
Not in the best condition but still great pieces.
Cheers.

I always loved German uniform designs.

Re: Feldbluse + Mantel - opinions please
Hi all and thans for replying
I like only salty items, which were "realy there"
I find and restore them.
I prefer items like this, than in "almost new" condition.
So now i need to find a beautiful eagle and some insignia for the tunic.
Cheers,
George

Re: Feldbluse + Mantel - opinions please
I get your drift George...but you'd better look for untouched, been there items...with original insigna. If you can find them cheap and can restore them in a sort of professional way they may fill a hole, but they won't neither sell as fast nor as highly priced as genuine, untouched, reasaonably salty but not moth-eaten items! An "almost new" tunic may as well seen action but to each one his own!
Anyway,if you do restore uniforms and like salty items you'd have known well that the greatcoat and the tunic you've posted are 100% original pieces! ;-)

Re: Feldbluse + Mantel - opinions please
Hi,
Yeah, firstly, I had no problems with them, but after, a friend of mine told me he'd bought a visor cap from the same seller and he'd received a fake one.
I was sure about these items of mine, but this fake cap had burned me inside and i had to check with the forum
And also, I do not restore tunics to sell them - restore them to bring them life once more.
Better restored tunic, than one, dying in a basement.
And it's not only because of this, its about keeping the history alive...that's my opinion.
It's my hobby
Thanks,
George
