It is in my opinion a very nice 43 pattern tunic, with correct later war collar litzern (No branch colour)

And I can't see your reasons Harry, to say the shoulder epps were not for that tunic? How can you determine that They are of the correct era

As for the buttons. .........Do they not affix the collar lining? On later tunics the "Kragenbinde" extended further down

Shame the eagle has been re-sewn, it's the right type for that tunic, so maybe it was removed and kept in a pocket. Either way, It's one I would be happy to own
